SMME Training

Boago Learning Solutions Consulting is an accredited training provider, accredited with the Banking and Services Seta. The company is wholly black owned and for the past 8 years has offered capacity building workshops and accredited training to Co-operatives and Small Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs). It has delivered training through Universities and TVETs as well as through a Mobile Training Solution (MTS) which was geared towards training and development in Rural Areas.

The MTS came fitted with 18 computer workstations linked to a satellite technology for Internet Connectivity. Through this innovative training model, they were able to take training to rural areas in all provinces, where the Seta would not necessarily have the facilities and/or visibility, and to also establish good relationships between the SETAS, local businesses and TVET colleges.

Over the last 8 years they have provided the following training interventions:

Co-operatives Training
Business Management for SMMEs
Financial Management for SMMEs
Compliance within the Banking Industry
Established partnerships between the SETA, Local Municipalities, Local Business and TVET Colleges, thereby laying the foundation for Work integrated learning in the form of Learnerships and Internships
